Gay marriage has once again become a hot topic in America the past few days due to the Californian Supreme Court’s ruling to upholding the definition of marriage as being between a man and a woman, causing hundreds of gay-right supporters to walk on the streets, making a statement against a decision they consider unfair and discriminatory.

Gay couples that got married in California before the November election continue to have their marriages recognized by the state, but the gay community in America still feels outraged and is ready to fight for their rights, including many gay celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi.

Opposing those are apparently 57% of the American people, according to Gallup – a website specialist in polls and market research. And opponents of same-sex marriage have requested a referendum to block the District of Columbia from recognizing gay marriages.
